Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design, develop and test software for defence, cyber and intelligence programmes. You will work with modern languages and frameworks, contribute to CI/CD, test automation and infrastructure-as-code, and collaborate with experienced engineers to deliver secure technical solutions. The position sits within a growing team focused on delivering innovative software across high-stakes domains. You will engage in problem solving and learning, with a path toward obtaining eDV clearance with company support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test software applications
• Work with Java, Python, C++, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Contribute to CI/CD, test automation and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to deliver high-quality technical solutions

Key requirements

• Commercial software development experience
• Experience with at least one modern programming language
• Knowledge of Linux, Git and automated testing
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
• Eligibility to obtain eDV clearance (support provided)
