Senior Project Controls Engineer – Cost – Bristol & Cardiff

Overview

In this role, you support infrastructure projects in the South West by steering cost and schedule reporting. You work with cross-disciplinary teams to assemble and verify progress and cost data, and you prepare monthly performance reports. You’ll help drive governance and digital reporting through tools like Power BI, while supporting the Project Controls Manager. Responsibilities

• Collate progress data from multi-discipline teams to update project/programme cost sheets
• Collate cost data from multi-discipline teams to support budget requests and update cost reports
• Prepare monthly reports measuring progress against baseline
• Support training and communication in application of processes and digital procedures for digital reporting (Power BI)
• Support governance and assurance of Project Controls processes

Key requirements

• Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with experience in a project control environment
• Experience in project or programme management with responsibility for delivery or controls of projects/programmes/portfolios
• Experience using Ecosys, Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Office applications
• Reliable, autonomous and team-oriented
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
