Overview
In this role you drive end-to-end cost management for large, complex infrastructure commissions on a live campus redevelopment. You work closely with client teams and partners to ensure value-for-money outcomes while upholding safety and sustainability standards. You lead multi-disciplinary teams, shape commercial strategies, and deliver high-quality cost plans and procurement guidance. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence a major campus transformation with a focus on safety, ethics, and net-zero objectives.

Responsibilities
- Directing estimating, cost planning and presentation of cost plans for infrastructure works
- Managing compliant procurement processes
- Delivering cost management services to drive strategic outcomes
- Applying health and safety expertise across project portfolios
- Mentoring and developing teams, driving innovation and continuous improvement
- Ensuring ethical, commercially sound operations supporting net-zero goals
- Fostering an inclusive environment and supporting team wellbeing
- Managing relationships with key senior stakeholders
Key requirements
- Strong infrastructure experience on a Campus site
- MRICS/RICS (or equivalent) with progression toward fellowship
- NEC4 Option A & C
- Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent)
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law and contractual frameworks
- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams
- Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders
- Knowledge of carbon and sustainability considerations in projects
