RF Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design, develop and deliver high‑performance RF and mmWave products for mission‑critical applications. You will work within the Engineering team to ensure robust designs, test them and support technology roadmaps. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet customer requirements and project goals. The position offers the chance to contribute to cutting‑edge RF systems and grow with an AIM‑listed, fast‑growing company on major space and defence contracts. This role also supports the UK Security Clearance vetting process as part of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, simulation, and development of RF and mmWave circuits, components, and subsystems
• Perform RF system analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting of complex designs
• Carry out RF measurements, characterization, and validation of prototypes and production hardware
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation (design reports, test plans, results)
• Ensure designs meet specifications, standards, and customer requirements
• Contribute to technology and product roadmaps with innovative RF design solutions
• Support RFQs, proposals, and customer engagements with technical input
• Collaborate with project managers to deliver designs on time and within budget
• Assist in transitioning designs from concept to volume manufacturing
• Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure manufacturability and product yield
• Identify and mitigate risks during design and development

Key requirements
