Applications & Test Engineer – HMI/Sensors

Overview

As an Applications & Test Engineer, you will contribute to the development and validation of next-generation touch technologies. You’ll work closely with the engineering team to prototype, test, and tune complete system solutions, while interfacing with customers to translate needs into viable solutions. This role focuses on hands-on electronics, firmware testing, and field-facing problem solving to ensure high-quality customer integration. You’ll be part of a team delivering cutting-edge hardware and firmware for automotive and industrial applications.

Responsibilities

• Prototype, tune, and test complete system-level solutions
• Hands-on build and test of equipment
• Test firmware and validate software
• Troubleshoot deployed products and identify solutions
• Develop proofs of concept from customer requirements
• Interface with customers to understand needs and translate them into solutions

Key requirements

• Hands-on electronics and firmware testing and fault finding
• Experience in touch technology advantageous; candidates from HMI, semiconductor, or broader electronics fields considered
• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, or related discipline
• Strong understanding of electronic circuit analysis and testing
• More than 3 years of relevant experience
• Ability to combine technical testing with a customer-facing, commercial mindset
