Magnetics Manufacturing Operative

Overview

In this Manufacturing Operator role, you directly produce Magnetics-based products to detailed drawings and specifications. You join a safety‑driven team focused on quality in a zero‑defect culture within a Quality Accredited environment. You will work to costed time standards and support continuous improvement in a low‑volume, high‑mix setting. You’ll collaborate across the manufacturing team and apply aerospace controls to deliver reliable components. This position offers a stable, 4‑day week and exposure to advanced aviation and industrial hardware projects.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, inspect, and follow build instructions with high accuracy
• Meet production timelines within costed time constraints
• Operate within a Quality Accredited environment following general manufacturing and aerospace controls
• Demonstrate safe behaviour and maintain a zero harm culture
• Adhere to zero tolerance for defects
• Collaborate with team to satisfy schedules and deadlines

Key requirements

• Manufacturing winding, soldering, assembly, or wiring experience
• Experience in aerospace or similar high‑reliability environment
• Experience with low‑volume, high‑product‑mix, build‑to‑print environments
• ERP/Shop booking system experience
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Strong attention to detail
• IPC 610/620 JSTD Soldering accreditation (or equivalent)
