Associate – Healthcare – Investment Banking – London

Overview

In this role you will join Moelis & Company’s Healthcare Life Sciences advisory team in London to help clients solve strategic financial challenges. You will lead sophisticated financial analysis and modeling, support deal-related work, and interact with senior bankers and clients. You’ll track market trends and regulatory shifts to identify opportunities and shape advisory strategies. This position offers responsibility, collaboration across groups, and a clear path to impact in a global, independent bank.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth quantitative financial analysis for business and market forecasting
• Construct financial models, valuations, and M&A comparisons based on research
• Identify market trends and regulatory changes to develop expansion strategies
• Interpret investment-related data to assess risk and potential
• Prepare offering memoranda, transaction documents, and client presentations
• Gather industry and financial information to forecast future potentials

Key requirements

• Experience in Investment Banking (corporate finance/M&A) or equivalent
• Prior experience in the Life Sciences space
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Basic accounting and financial concepts knowledge; ability to value businesses
• Results-driven with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Team player able to interact with diverse internal groups and clients
• Strong multi-tasking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Excel as essential
