Overview

As Enterprise Account Executive at Anthropic, you will drive adoption of our AI productivity API and SaaS for insurance firms across EMEA. You’ll lead strategic deals with insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and MGAs, acting as a trusted partner to embed and scale AI in underwriting, claims, and distribution. Collaborate with GTM, Product, and Marketing to sharpen the value proposition for insurance decision-makers. This role offers the chance to shape how frontier AI is deployed in the sector while advancing ethical AI development.

Responsibilities

  • Win new business and drive revenue in the insurance sector
  • Navigate insurance organisations to reach decision-makers, educate them about services, and enable success with Anthropic
  • Own the full sales cycle from outbound to close
  • Design and execute sales strategies aligned with insurance procurement cycles, vendor risk, and budgeting
  • Analyze insurance market landscapes to convert plans into targeted activities and campaigns
  • Identify new use cases within underwriting, claims operations, actuarial functions, and distribution channels
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to differentiate offerings for insurance applications
  • Navigate stakeholder ecosystems to build consensus among executives, underwriting and claims leadership, IT, risk/compliance, and procurement
  • Inform product roadmaps by gathering insurance market feedback and needs
  • Refine sales methodology with playbooks, templates, and best practices
  • Identify process improvements to boost sales productivity and consistency

Key requirements

  • 8+ years of B2B SaaS or API sales experience
  • Track record of managing complex sales cycles within insurance and closing strategic deals
  • Experience navigating insurance organisations and procurement processes with diverse stakeholders
  • Extensive experience negotiating complex insurance procurement agreements and vendor risk policies
  • Proven ability to exceed revenue targets with evolving pipeline and sales process
  • Excellent communication skills across audiences from underwriters to senior executives
  • Deep understanding of insurance buying cycles, decision-making, and regulatory environment
