Overview
In this role you will lead daily design management for a large, multi-million pound regeneration project, coordinating design consultants and ensuring on-site quality aligns with designs and specifications. You will contribute to project records, certification, and post-project reviews. This is a chance to influence design outcomes on a high-profile Hertfordshire project within a leading contractor, collaborating across teams to drive compliant, timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage design consultants and coordinate design activities
- Monitor on-site workmanship to ensure it meets design/spec benchmarks
- Prepare and present completed design records and certifications for project closure
- Actively participate in post-project reviews to capture lessons learned
Key requirements
- Level 4 qualification (e.g., HNC/NVQ4)
- Proven track record of programming and design management
- Up-to-date knowledge of building legislations and procedures
- Valid driving licence
