Overview

You will join a leading South East property development team to advise on a broad range of development work, from option agreements and due diligence to acquisitions and disposals of development land. You will handle planning, construction, and development finance matters while coordinating plot sales, delivering practical, commercially focused advice to a sophisticated client base. There is strong scope for business development and building long-term client relationships, with clear progression and potential for partnership within a market‑leading practice.

Responsibilities

• drafting option agreements and conditional contracts
• conducting due diligence on development projects
• leading acquisitions and disposals of development land
• handling planning and construction matters
• managing secured acquisition and development finance
• coordinating plot sales
• identifying risk and delivering commercially focused advice
• business development and client relationship building

Key requirements

• 4+ PQE in property development or related field
• solid experience in development transactions
• strong branding for risk management and commercial advice
• ability to manage client relationships and business development
• capability to work within a top-tier law firm environment
