Overview

In this role you drive growth in the UK insurance sector by building executive relationships and shaping go-to-market strategies for Life & Pensions, brokers, and general insurers. You will lead pipeline origination, collaborate with domain experts, and position AI-driven, cloud-enabled modernization solutions. The role blends strategic account management with cross-functional execution to accelerate transformation across insurers and brokers. You will join a values-driven, growth-oriented consulting firm delivering technology-enabled insurance outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target insurance accounts across Life & Pensions, Broker, General, and reinsurance segments
  • Develop pursuit plans and account strategies aligned to policy administration, automation, claims, underwriting, and distribution modernization
  • Originate AI-led transformation opportunities with mid-sized insurers and brokers
  • Collaborate with solution architects and domain SMEs to craft value propositions
  • Lead workshops, bids, and presentations on AI-led automation, data modernization, legacy transformation, and cloud adoption
  • Position techno-functional solutions in document management, telematics-based underwriting, fraud analytics, and digital claims orchestration
  • Establish relationships with CIOs, COOs, Heads of Claims, and Chief Underwriters
  • Represent the organization at insurance forums and regulatory roundtables
  • Monitor regulatory trends and identify whitespace opportunities based on competitors and tech adoption
  • Enable sales enablement across the insurance vertical and mentor junior team members

Key requirements

  • Strong understanding of the insurance regulatory environment and operating models
  • Experience in Business Development or sales in Insurance Services
  • Experience in Life & Pensions, Broker and/or General Insurance segments in the UK/Ireland
  • Proven track record selling consulting, transformation, or managed services to insurers
  • Exposure to platforms such as Sapiens, Majesco, Salesforce FSC, Snowflake, and analytics suites (preferable)
