Underwriter – UK P&C

Overview

IDEX is partnering with an established London market MGA in a high-growth phase to hire a commercial Underwriter. You will apply your UK P&C expertise to develop opportunities in the broker market, writing a range of exposures with support from an autonomous platform. The role offers management buy-in, enabling you to bring ideas to the table and act quickly. You will grow with a fast-moving team that values entrepreneurial thinking and tangible impact.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite a range of UK P&C exposures with a commercial mindset
• Manage broker relationships and act as a primary point of contact for brokers
• Identify growth opportunities and execute on them within an autonomous framework
• Contribute to rapid, well-supported decision-making and platform building
• Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to deliver best-in-class client solutions
