Overview
In this role you will lead GenAI solution design for secure, high-assurance environments within the Security & Justice sector. You will drive architecture, governance and adoption of enterprise-grade GenAI solutions, collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
- Engage with senior client stakeholders to define GenAI strategies, identify high-value use cases and shape transformation roadmaps
- Lead end-to-end architecture and design of Generative AI solutions, including application design, data integration, model selection, orchestration and deployment approaches
- Provide design authority and governance across AI programmes, ensuring security, regulatory, ethical and responsible AI requirements are met
- Define scalable patterns and frameworks for GenAI adoption, including component reuse, platform strategies and operating models
- Oversee delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technical design and implementation outcomes
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, architects and business teams to ensure successful build, integration and operationalisation of GenAI solutions
- Lead and mentor delivery teams, fostering engineering excellence, innovation and consistent design standards across engagements
Key requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering or a related discipline
- Significant experience designing and leading delivery of complex AI, data or technology solutions in consulting, public sector or enterprise environments
- Proven track record engaging senior stakeholders and leading solution architecture, strategy and delivery approaches
- Experience working in secure or highly regulated environments; eligible to obtain or hold security clearance
- Ability to lead programmes or multiple workstreams aligning business needs, architecture and delivery
- Deep understanding of Generative AI technologies and AI governance, especially in regulated environments
- Experience defining scalable AI architectures on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and knowledge of MLOps/GenAIOps
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills to translate complex concepts for senior decision-makers
