Software Engineer – Cloud Platform (Networks)

Overview

Join the Aura Networking team to design, develop, and maintain the cloud networking foundation that powers Neo4j’s managed graph platform. You will work with cross‑functional cloud teams to shape a scalable roadmap and tackle complex engineering challenges in a rapidly growing SaaS environment. Your work directly impacts performance, reliability, and global scalability. This role offers a meaningful chance to shape cloud networking for Aura and the broader Neo4j ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the cloud networking foundation for Aura
• Collaborate with cross‑functional cloud teams to shape and deliver the cloud networking roadmap
• Address performance, reliability, and scale challenges in a 24/7 SaaS environment
• Build and operate deployment pipelines with continuous delivery
• Work on Kubernetes‑based networking solutions and related primitives

Key requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud, AWS and/or Azure
• Agile software development within a team environment
• Proficiency in Go
• Experience building and operating software on Kubernetes
• Cloud Networking and Kubernetes Networking fundamentals
• Solid understanding of DNS, TLS, mTLS, SNI and L4/L7 Proxies (Envoy)
• Build and deployment pipelines employing continuous delivery
