Design Engineer – Scaffolding

Overview

In this role you contribute to the design and detailing of scaffolding schemes for commercial and industrial projects across the UK. You will join an established, employee-focused design team that values collaboration and career growth. You’ll produce detailed drawings, structural calculations, and risk assessments while liaising with clients and the management group. The opportunity combines technical design with team leadership and cross-functional collaboration, in a growing London office.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed design drawings for scaffolding schemes
• Perform structural calculations and design risk assessments
• Collaborate with and potentially lead junior team members
• Liaise with clients and management on project progress
• Support multiple commercial and industrial projects across the UK

Key requirements

• Experience in scaffolding design in the UK
• Good CAD and structural analysis skills
• Comfortable working with junior staff and liaising with clients
• Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship)
