Senior Civil Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead civil infrastructure design within a respected UK team, working on prestigious projects both locally and abroad. You will collaborate with specialists across disciplines to ensure technically excellent, profitable outcomes while expanding your leadership and Chartership prospects. The position combines design excellence with project delivery and client engagement in a sustainability-driven practice. You will shape infrastructure for the built environment, contributing to Cundall’s mission of creative, sustainable design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design across a varied portfolio of civil projects for built-environment infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians across disciplines to deliver high-quality, profitable projects
• Manage multiple large-scale projects from concept through construction, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence
• Mentor and guide less experienced engineers and support professional development towards Chartership
• Develop and maintain design solutions aligned with UK adoptable standards for highways, drainage and utilities

Key requirements

• Degree level in Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng)
• Experience in a consultancy Civil Engineering role
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Infodrainage, Civil 3D
• Near-term or achieved Chartership withICE (CEng) or equivalent
