Overview

In this role you support MUFG’s Cash & Liquidity Management Sales as a CSAM, shaping end-to-end client experiences for a portfolio of UK and European clients. You collaborate with coverage, product, and risk teams to grow revenue, diversify cross-sell opportunities, and manage client strategy. You act as the client advocate and first line of defense on deal-related risk, ensuring compliant, seamless service. This is an opportunity to drive growth within a global bank and work with cross-functional partners to deliver one MUFG proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Support growth of cash & liquidity management revenues in a designated portfolio to meet regional and global targets
  • Service and support sales efforts with coverage partners to acquire new clients and opportunities
  • Define and execute client strategy including wallet planning and target identification with coverage and product partners
  • Support achievement of individual pipeline targets and promote proactive pipeline management
  • Cross-sell the full suite of cash & liquidity management products to diversify revenue
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs for designated clients coordinating input across GTB functions
  • Build strong working relationships across stakeholders (product, client implementation, risk, compliance, legal)
  • Be the first line of defense for deal-related compliance, legal, and risk issues and drive continuous risk improvement
  • Provide coaching/training to team members to elevate understanding of cash & liquidity management
  • Represent MUFG at internal and external industry and client events

Key requirements

  • Extensive associate-level cash & liquidity management sales experience at a Tier 1 global financial institution
  • Proven revenue growth across a 2-year business cycle with cross-sell diversification
  • SME knowledge of UK, European, Asia & North American markets, including competitive landscape
  • Experience in transaction banking environments and awareness of technology solutions (preferred)
  • Strong technical knowledge across cash & liquidity management products and regulatory trends
  • Negotiation and strong communication skills across written, verbal, and presentation formats
  • Understanding of risk, credit, legal, compliance, and implementation in the context of treasury solutions
  • Bachelor level degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related discipline (or equivalent)
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with strong prioritization and decision-making skills
  • Ability to operate under pressure and manage large workloads with attention to detail
