Overview

In this Medical Writer role, you contribute to day-to-day project delivery, turning scientific data into clear medical content across therapy areas. You work within a client-facing team to understand medical affairs and brand context, using AI to boost efficiency. You’ll adapt styles for diverse audiences and support strategic discussions with clients and advisors. Responsibilities

• Understand therapeutic areas and interpret scientific data for projects
• Review literature and competitive information to inform strategy and share insights with teams
• Participate in client and advisor meetings and strategic discussions
• Confidently use AI tools to support tasks and improve workflow
• Take ownership of day-to-day scientific content delivery under supervision
• Ensure references, reference packs, and ABPI code compliance are met
• Adapt writing style for different audiences and formats (e.g., physicians, nurses, patients)
• Manage project timelines, briefs, and communication with the account team
• Train or mentor junior writers on writing and processes
• On-site content development at events and client interactions

Key requirements

• Strong scientific background in a scientific or medical discipline
• Passion for healthcare, science, medicine, and pharmaceutical industry
• Keen interest in AI technologies
• Personable and detail-oriented with clear communication
• Experience as a (junior) medical writer in an agency or pharmaceutical setting
