Senior CDM Consultant – Health & Safety

Overview

In this role you deliver H&S and CDM consultancy from Manchester, tailoring services to client needs. You’ll build trusted client relationships, provide expert guidance on CDM regulations, and ensure high-quality, compliant delivery. You’ll conduct H&S assessments and contribute to project commissions within the firm’s management framework. This position offers exposure to diverse sectors and the opportunity to influence safety and regulatory outcomes on major projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver H&S and CDM consultancy services to existing and new clients from the Manchester office
• Understand client needs and proactively identify solutions to their challenges
• Establish positive client relationships and act as a trusted advocate for Turner & Townsend
• Represent the firm professionally in meetings, negotiations, and communications with clients
• Contribute to commissions ensuring client expectations and internal management systems are met
• Carry out H&S performance reviews and audits on behalf of the client

Key requirements

• Knowledge and experience in the construction industry with a focus on CDM Regulations
• Experience across a diverse range of industry sectors is desirable
• CDM Principal Designer experience would be advantageous though not essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to plan and organise workload to meet deadlines
• Strong IT skills to generate reports and documents
