Associate Fire Engineer

Overview

In this role you will join a multidisciplinary team in Manchester to deliver high-quality fire safety consultancy across public and private sectors. You’ll lead and support fire engineering projects, drive compliance with fire safety standards, and develop client relationships. Responsibilities

• Lead and co-ordinate a team of fire consultants
• Provide advisory support to the Partner
• Contribute to PQQ/bid document preparation
• Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance
• Conduct site visits for a broad range of fire consultancy services
• Deliver fire advice, guidance and training to clients
• Liaise with enforcing authorities on client matters when required
• Advise clients on fire safety standards and best practices
• Develop the Fire Consultancy Service and assist in management financial reporting

Key requirements

• Level 5 in Fire Discipline
• Robust knowledge of UK fire safety legislation
• Strong technical delivery experience
• Membership of IFE / IFSM or equivalent
• Proven ability to direct and manage complex projects
• Track record in line management and team development
• Experience in developing new client relationships and securing business
• Client-facing with high standards of technical delivery
• Ability to build long-term client relationships
