In this role you design, deploy and maintain the trading network infrastructure to ensure high uptime and low latency for a leading high-frequency trading client. You collaborate with Technology and Trading teams to evolve networks and security, and you automate repetitive operations. Responsibilities
- Build, manage and maintain network infrastructure in local sites and remote data centres
- Collaborate with Technology and Trading teams to evolve networking and security systems
- Monitor latency, throughput and utilization to optimize performance
- Automate repetitive network administration tasks
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and provide recommendations for future improvements
- Collaborate with technology and trading staff to shape vision and direction
Key requirements
- 3+ years of network engineering experience
- Experience with Cisco switches and products
- Knowledge and troubleshooting experience of IP Networking
- Experience working with multi-vendor and multi-technology WAN
