QA Test Analyst- Wimbledon

Overview

In this role you will drive quality for software applications, including C++ desktop and HTML5 data-visualisation tools. You will work within the QA team to design tests, automate where possible and support client consulting teams. The position offers hands-on automation experience in a fast-paced trading environment with high visibility. You will gain exposure to trading infrastructure and Bloomberg data flows while contributing to testing strategy and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document test conditions, scripts, data requirements and expected results
• Perform tests and document results
• Learn functionality of high-performance desktop applications through hands-on use and training
• Support client consulting teams
• Set up and monitor automated testing scripts
• Contribute to discussions on testing approaches and quality

Key requirements

• Strong computer and coding skills
• Basic knowledge of automation testing tools
• Ideally ISTQB foundation level or BCS/ISEB foundation level or degree in computer-based discipline
• Experience in an AGILE environment
• Ability to take ownership and drive improvement of the testing function
