Overview
In this role you will lead high-value sourcing projects within a regulated public sector environment, guiding end-to-end procurement from strategy to award. You will own competitive tenders outside frameworks, negotiate terms, and manage multi-million-pound supplier relationships. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive value, sustainability, and innovative contracting approaches. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing projects in a regulated environment (PCR 2015)
- Develop and deliver sourcing strategies and tender documentation
- Run competitive tenders outside of a framework with full ownership
- Lead complex commercial evaluations and supplier negotiations
- Partner with and influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions
- Drive innovation, sustainability, and value through contracting strategies
- Manage multi-million-pound programmes and complex supplier relationships
Key requirements
- Public sector procurement experience
- Proven end-to-end tendering experience outside of a framework
- Solid understanding of PCR 2015 / regulated procurement environments
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills at executive level
- Demonstrable track record of commercial savings delivery
- Experience in contract law and financial management
- Knowledge of reclassified or regulated procurement environments (desirable)
