Innovation and Learning Manager

Overview

In this role you will drive the university’s strategy by championing technology-enhanced teaching and learning. You will partner with faculties to deliver educational priorities through resources, consultancy and workshops, shaping blended content and digital pedagogy. You’ll foster active learning, design a cohesive training system for educators, and contribute to scholarly development and flagship programs like fellowships and events. This is a pivotal role for expanding innovative, student-centered education at Queen Mary.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging blended content
• Integrate digital pedagogy across academic programmes
• Support development of active learning methods to boost student engagement
• Create an integrated training and development system (workshops, events, forums)
• Foster continuous educator development and scholarship development
• Evaluate impact and support initiatives such as Queen Mary Academy Fellowships, funded projects, and the Festival of Education
• Collaborate with Faculties, Schools and Institutes to deliver educational priorities through resources, consultancy and workshops
• Support the broader implementation of Queen Mary Strategy 2030 through education-focused activities
