Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Overview

In this HR Generalist role, you partner with associates and leaders to navigate complex people moments and deliver high‑quality employee experiences. You operate within a single, integrated HR delivery model, applying policy with practical guidance and pragmatic problem‑solving. You help harmonize processes, strengthen governance, and enable HR service delivery across regions. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliant, trusted support for the workforce.

Responsibilities

• Complex Case Resolution across core HR domains (employee lifecycle, time and attendance, benefits, policy interpretation) with adherence to policies, playbooks, and governance
• Subject Matter Expert for HR Service Delivery agents; provide guidance, coaching, and decision support
• Service Design & Continuous Improvement: identify defects and escalation patterns; conduct basic root‑cause analysis and propose countermeasures
• Operational Excellence & Governance: operate within SLAs and quality standards while ensuring data privacy and audit compliance
• Scope & Operating Model Alignment: support Ilfracombe site within a broader matrixed HR operating model

Key requirements

• 5+ years in HR operations, shared services, employee relations support, or related HR specialty
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with continuous improvement mindset
• Proficiency in HRIS and case management tools; ability to navigate cross‑functional systems
• Ability to switch between case resolution, HRSD enablement, and improvement work based on demand
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
