Overview
As a Venture Designer at Founders Factory you shape early-stage venture concepts from corporate themes into validated, investable propositions. You own end-to-end sprint work, blending research, strategy, prototyping and validation to produce concepts ready for the Investment Committee. You’ll work closely with corporate partners and cross-functional colleagues to uncover gaps, test ideas with real users, and distill findings into evidence-backed recommendations. This role offers high autonomy, impact on the portfolio, and exposure to a dynamic studio environment at scale.

Responsibilities
- Translate investment themes into explorable problem spaces and opportunities
- Conduct deep market research to assess direction, gaps, and competition
- Generate multiple venture concepts per theme using human-centred design
- Design and run rapid experiments (A/B tests, prototype testing, user interviews) to validate assumptions
- Synthesize research into concise, evidence-backed recommendations and shortlist strongest concepts
- Present validated concepts to the Investment Committee with clear rationale for greenlighting
- Collaborate with Venture Designers, Venture Builders, investors and specialists to sharpen ideas
- Stay updated on emerging tech and market shifts to bring fresh thinking to each sprint
