Overview
As Lead Product Designer in Rightmove’s Experience Design team, you’ll mentor a team of three Product Designers and define the design vision for Move & Home domains in line with product strategy. You’ll influence domain direction, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and contribute hands-on when valuable. You will champion design craft, systematize design system adoption, and translate design decisions into business outcomes. This is a strategic, people-focused role in a scale-up environment with cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Designers with clear goals and feedback
- Maintain a high design craft bar across the team’s output
- Set standards for design system contribution and ensure consistency with Brand and other Leads
- Inform domain strategy, assess risks and trade-offs, and align with business goals
- Translate design decisions into commercial metrics and impact
- Conduct strategic research to shape long-term product direction
- Influence decisions across levels and disciplines without formal authority
- Champion inclusive and accessible design and represent XD externally
- Collaborate with Design, Product Management, and Engineering leadership to steer domain direction
