Electrical Digital Design Specialist

Overview

As a Mechanical Design Specialist at HDR, you will support discipline-specific BIM development under supervision, delivering accurate Revit models and detailed drawings. You will contribute to the digital delivery output and maintain model integrity across project information, coordinates, scales, and sheets. You’ll work closely with architects/engineers to produce discipline documentation and ensure precise annotations. This role supports HDR’s inclusive culture and global impact by shaping mechanical design delivery for building projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain discipline BIM models under guidance
• Create and refine discipline content and digital delivery outputs
• Model BIM elements accurately within the modeling environment constraints
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams using Revit
• Maintain model quality: project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, match-lines, views, sheets
• Produce discipline-specific documentation with precise annotations

Key requirements

• Technical degree or minimum 3 years related industry experience
• Proficient with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with 3D Coordination tools
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
