Housing Occupational Therapy Team Manager

Overview

As Housing Occupational Therapy Team Manager you will lead a newly created team delivering housing OT services to adults across Wiltshire. You will ensure high-quality, compliant service delivery in partnership with housing, adult care, and registered social landlords, while managing staff, workloads, and complex cases. You will drive quality assurance, development, risk management, and continuous service improvement to achieve positive resident outcomes. This role offers hybrid work and a chance to shape housing adaptations and accessibility at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the housing occupational therapy team (qualified OTs and assistants)
• Allocate workloads and supervise complex cases
• Ensure legislative standards and service performance are met
• Support people with disabilities in accessing suitable housing and implementing home adaptations
• Drive quality assurance, staff development, risk management, and continuous service improvement
• Maintain accurate records and provide professional advice
• Collaborate with wider housing and adult care services and partners
• Manage budgets and monitor service delivery outcomes

Key requirements

• HCPC registration with substantial experience in health and social care or occupational therapy
• strong leadership, organisational, analytical and decision-making skills
