Responsibilities

• Code across the stack to deliver robust features
• Provide project management and release management
• Lead core software development and infrastructure improvements
• Research and experiment with new approaches
• Make technical decisions and contribute to strategy
• Mentor four junior developers
• Take ownership of delivering complex solutions

Key requirements

• Degree in Computer Science
• Object-oriented experience in Scala or Java
• Experience with dynamic languages (Ruby, Python)
• Web technologies including Ruby on Rails, CoffeeScript, Backbone.js, HTML, SASS/CSS
• SQL and NoSQL databases (Redis preferred)
• XML and Antlr (ideally)
• Build tools (Maven, CMake, Rake)
