You will work closely with clients, contribute to process improvements, and support business development while mentoring junior lawyers. Responsibilities
- Defend liability claims pre- and post-litigation
- Advise on regulatory issues, risk management, and Ombudsman complaints
- Handle policy coverage issues for insurers
- Manage matters across a range of professions with high claim values
- Deliver high-quality outputs within SLAs
- Contribute to team process improvements
- Capture and collate management information for clients
- Support business development and client relationship management
- Coach and develop junior team members
Key requirements
- 1-5 years PQE in professional indemnity litigation
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures and litigation processes
- Ability to deliver legal and commercial solutions collaboratively
- Proven track record in client relationships
- Commitment to business development and identifying opportunities
- Commercial mindset with awareness of pricing, resourcing, profitability
- Leadership skills with experience coaching juniors
- Strong organisational skills and efficiency
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
