Overview
As Technical Coordinator you will support the delivery of new build residential developments by coordinating technical design packages with the architectural team and liaising with commercial and production teams to keep projects on track. You will work under the Senior Technical Manager across RC and timber frame schemes, ensuring compliance with Building Regs and NHBC standards while identifying critical paths in programmes. This role emphasizes collaborative design coordination, attention to detail, and effective communication across disciplines to meet deadlines and budgets. It offers a clear path for career progression within a responsible, long-term residential developer culture.

Responsibilities
- coordinate design packages with architectural team
- liaise with commercial and production teams during development
- review and interrogate design information across disciplines
- ensure packages meet programme deadlines
- identify Critical Paths in project programmes
- support compliance with Building Regulations and NHBC standards
- communicate effectively with all disciplines
- organise and manage processes and people
Key requirements
- 5+ years residential developer experience
- experience across multiple new build developments from inception to completion
- strong knowledge of residential technical design processes
- familiarity with RC frame and timber frame construction
- ability to question design information across disciplines
- architectural background; AutoCAD beneficial
- understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC, and sustainability
- ability to interpret and negotiate compliance
- ability to manage project programmes and critical paths
- degree level education or professional qualification
- clear communication across disciplines
- strong team player
- well-organised and detail-oriented
- AutoCAD (beneficial)
