Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure

Overview

In this hybrid role in Bristol, you will lead delivery of infrastructure projects and programmes for major water, energy and transport clients. You’ll oversee the full project lifecycle, from definition through handover, driving delivery discipline and commercial awareness. You will work with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes and contribute to Arup’s mission of shaping a better world. Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of infrastructure projects and programmes across lifecycle stages
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and integrate cost, schedule, procurement, health & safety, reporting, quality and planning
• Manage project schedules, risks and opportunities; report to clients, stakeholders and project boards
• Administer contracts (NEC4) and coordinate contractor activities using standard forms
• Foster strong client and stakeholder relationships and lead project meetings and communications

Key requirements

• Experience in delivery roles on complex building projects, programmes or frameworks
• Familiarity with lifecycle stages from definition and approvals through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover
• Strong delivery discipline with commercial awareness and clear communication
• Experience of infrastructure consenting and managing multidisciplinary teams with client/stakeholder engagement
• BSc in related discipline and chartered or working towards chartership
• Contract administration experience (NEC4 Project Manager) and contractor coordination
