Overview

As a Senior Manager in Accenture’s Wealth Management practice, you will lead consulting engagements that address client challenges across strategy, operating models, product and technology. You’ll shape C-suite agendas, drive growth, and build trusted client relationships while mentoring teams and developing offerings in the UK Wealth Management space. You’ll create thought leadership and support firm growth through sales and collaborations across practices. This role combines business and technology in a dynamic, client-focused environment with opportunities to impact the market.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and lead consulting engagements addressing client challenges across strategy, operating model transformation, AI, core systems transformation, cost efficiency, and enterprise agility
  • Drive business development and sales, partnering with leaders, clients and consultants to bring Accenture value to clients
  • Solve complex change and technology problems using structured analysis, rigorous problem solving, and executive communication
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client executives and Accenture teams in a dynamic environment
  • Support the development of the UK Wealth Management practice through people development, mentoring, and recruitment activities
  • Take accountability for developing offerings within the UK Wealth Management practice
  • Lead growth initiatives by identifying market trends and driving sales opportunities
  • Create well-articulated thought leadership assets that influence market strategy and enhance Accenture’s presence

Key requirements

  • Wealth Management consulting experience in a recognised consulting firm or in-house consulting/business development role at a large Wealth Management organization
  • Deep subject matter expertise across Private Wealth (Wealth Management, Private Banking, Family Offices, Advisory and Financial Planning) with knowledge of client segmentation, regulatory environments, product architecture, and distribution models
  • Excellent consulting and problem-solving skills; familiarity with established frameworks; experience in research, quantitative analysis, structured problem solving, and executive communication
  • Knowledge of current Wealth Management trends, regulation, investor needs, and products/services
  • Proven track record of building relationships with Executives / Senior Executives
  • Operating model design and implementation experience
  • Familiarity with core technology platforms (Aladdin Wealth, InvestCloud, FNZ, IRESS, Avaloq)
  • Ability to think creatively to solve complex issues and understand how technology/digital can aid clients
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in challenging settings
  • Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial management of consulting engagements; willingness to travel and be onsite with clients
  • Strong project and programme management skills; experience leading medium to large teams across clients and vendors
  • Experience in developing and building the practice internally, including strategy, resource development, targets
