Overview
As a Partner in the IP team, you will lead complex IP disputes and shape a growing national IP offering. You will draft and negotiate a broad range of IP agreements, collaborate across UK offices and with US specialists, and drive business development. You will mentor junior lawyers and promote innovative, efficient service delivery. Responsibilities
- Lead on complex IP disputes across core IP rights
- Draft and negotiate IP agreements including assignments, licences, confidentiality agreements and R&D agreements
- Collaborate with colleagues across UK offices and US IP specialists
- Drive business development and contribute to strategic growth
- Mentor and develop junior lawyers
- Champion innovation and modern legal service delivery
Key requirements
- Proven track record of building and sustaining a UK IP practice
- Strong experience in IP disputes and transactional IP work
- Deep sector and market understanding with insight into emerging trends
- Commercial acumen and ability to prioritise revenue and growth
- Collaborative leadership and experience coaching teams
- Commitment to innovation and continuous improvement
- Strong external profile as a recognised IP leader
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
