Responsibilities

• Own transactions from instruction to completion
• Act as day-to-day lead contact for clients with commercial, pragmatic advice
• Manage multiple matters with tight timescales
• Coordinate with developers, registered providers, funders and stakeholders
• Identify and manage risk to keep deals moving forward
• Supervise and develop junior team members, delegating and reviewing work
• Contribute to client relationship management and business development initiatives

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered)
• strong experience in residential development and/or affordable housing
• commercially minded with balanced legal risk and practical solutions
• organized, proactive, able to manage busy workload
• strong communication skills and credibility with clients
• experience in collaborative team environments and supporting junior lawyers
