As an Account Manager for Baxter’s Welch Allyn and Hillrom portfolio, you will protect and grow key NHS accounts in the UK, with a focus on retention and expanding device connectivity into EPR systems. You will drive digital transformation and patient-safety improvements through strategic account plans and cross-functional collaboration. The role centers on delivering value-based solutions in a competitive market and shaping the customer’s care environment. Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow the installed base of Welch Allyn low-acuity vital signs solutions.
- Develop strategic account plans focused on retention, expansion and long-term partnership growth.
- Identify risks in the installed base and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure customers maximise value from investments via optimisation, training, connectivity, and workflow improvements.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within low-acuity monitoring and connected care.
- Drive growth through expansion of existing accounts and conversion of competitors’ business.
- Manage the full sales process from opportunity to implementation and post-sale adoption.
- Conduct value-based selling by linking Baxter solutions to clinical, operational and financial outcomes.
- Lead complex sales with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Build and maintain relationships with clinical, operational, technical, and procurement stakeholders.
- Develop executive-level relationships and identify opportunities aligned to patient deterioration management, vital signs automation, and digital ward initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with therapy, medical, and marketing teams to enhance the customer experience.
- Utilise CRM to track funnel, interactions, and engagement for personalised follow-up.
- Provide regular business updates and maintain accurate forecasts.
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years in medical devices with proven NHS selling experience
- Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Desirable: experience in digital healthcare, device connectivity or EPR integration
- Must live in the territory
