Wholesale Administrator (French Speaking)

Overview

In this role you will support Ford Credit’s wholesale operations for French dealer partners from the Manchester Business Centre. You will be the bilingual liaison for dealers and internal teams, handling financial queries, reconciliations, and settlements to drive efficient cross-border finance operations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes and support European market activities. This is a hands-on role with a focus on accuracy, customer service, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for French dealers and internal teams via phone, email, and messaging
• Manage daily debt collection and reconcile payments in in-house banking systems; investigate unapplied suspense items
• Execute dealer settlements, clearances, wholesale credit exposures, and facility rewrites
• Contribute to global optimisation projects, support knowledge sharing, and assist system rollouts and process improvements
• Support cross-market collaboration by assisting peer teams during peak volumes and absences

Key requirements

• Bilingual fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
• Experience in banking, credit control, accounts receivable, reconciliation, or fast-paced customer finance is advantageous
• Analytical with high attention to detail; ability to reconcile accounts, investigate variances, and manage deadlines
