Overview
In this role you will expand our Real Estate footprint by building new relationships with property owners, managers and developers, while crafting tailored insurance programmes. You work closely with broking, servicing and claims colleagues to deliver advisory, client-centric solutions in a boutique, autonomy-friendly environment. You will manage your own pipeline and contribute to market intelligence and compliant onboarding, helping the firm grow through long-term partnerships. This is an opportunity to shape risk strategies for real estate clients within a trusted, independent broker.

Responsibilities
- Build and manage a proactive new-business pipeline targeting real-estate clients (commercial and residential)
- Meet prospects, perform risk reviews and create tailored insurance programmes with internal support
- Convert opportunities through relationship-building, technical insight and consultative selling
- Represent the business professionally, conveying independence, clarity and advisory-led service
- Maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders (fund managers, landlords, developers)
- Feed market intelligence on real-estate trends, risk issues and insurer appetite
- Collaborate internally to ensure onboarding, servicing and claims support for new clients
- Adhere to FCA regulatory expectations and internal compliance processes
Key requirements
- Experience in commercial insurance broking or account management, ideally with real-estate exposure
- Strong new-business development with a track record of leads and closures
- Understanding of commercial and residential property risk
- Confident communicator with presentation and negotiation skills
- Energetic, proactive, self-directed within a boutique environment
- Attention to detail and client-care professionalism
- CII progress advantageous but not essential
