AD / Director: Business Interruption

Overview

In this role you lead the forensic accounting work on business interruption and insurer-led claims within a UK-wide team. You will shape case strategy, manage peer reviews and technical reviews, and engage with insurers, reinsurers, claimants, and the insured. You drive settlement decisions, prepare final reports, and foster client relationships while developing staff and contributing to growth through business development. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position in a collaborative, value-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Assess BI and financial claims on site and from office
• Prepare reports and provide commentary on analyses
• Meet with clients including insurers, reinsurers, claimants and the insured
• Calculate and agree settlements; prepare final reports
• Staff development and peer/case review oversight
• Develop relationships with existing clients and pursue new business opportunities
• Keep abreast of technical or legal changes impacting cases
• Contribute to business development by delivering high-quality output to promote repeat business

Key requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Forensic accounting experience to at least Senior Manager level
• Experience in major loss / insurer-led work
• Desire to grow this area and develop business
• Willingness to travel to client sites on short notice
