Senior or Principal Electrical Engineers

Overview

In this role you will lead electrical design for high‑profile projects in Woking, delivering robust deliverables and ensuring quality. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to apply technical expertise across complex engineering tasks and studies. You help shape project outcomes by performing ETAP studies, developing design documentation, and coordinating with stakeholders. This is an opportunity to impact large-scale delivery within a safety‑ and quality‑driven engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project work in line with Discipline Design Instructions and project procedures
• Prepare engineering deliverables (Base of Design, specifications, load lists, datasheets, calculations, single line diagrams, equipment sizing, drawings)
• Conduct Electrical System studies using ETAP
• Contribute to layouts, equipment lists, and cost estimates
• Manage electrical engineering activities, progress reporting, and compliance with checking/quality procedures
• Support change management to maintain scope clarity and compliance
• Assist in procurement processes, technical evaluations, and vendor liaison
• Review vendor deliverables for compliance with standards
• Design motor protection and control wiring diagrams
• Represent electrical discipline in client, project team, and vendor meetings

Key requirements

• Strong experience as an Electrical Engineer on large-scale projects
• Ability to produce detailed design deliverables and calculations
• Proficiency in ETAP (or similar software)
• Sound knowledge of relevant electrical standards and codes
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface with stakeholders effectively
• Track record of working on international engineering projects
