Data Analyst

Overview

In this role you will translate business needs into actionable insights, building dashboards and reporting solutions that empower data-driven decisions. You will collaborate with data engineers, architects and stakeholders to deliver impactful visualisations and maintain robust data models. You’ll drive data quality and governance while telling data-driven stories to stakeholders. This position sits within a growing data practice focused on modern technology environments and transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable insights
• Build and maintain data models and reporting datasets
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, architects and business stakeholders
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities within complex datasets
• Improve data quality and support reporting governance initiatives
• Deliver insights through data storytelling and visual communication

Key requirements

• Strong Power BI experience
• Experience with data modelling and reporting solutions
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with modern data platforms and cloud technologies
• Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Previous consulting or client-facing experience is highly desirable
