UW Governance Manager

Overview

In this role you will shape and grow the underwriting governance function for a top global reinsurance group. You will support the CUO by developing and managing governance frameworks, guidelines, and strategy across the Group. You’ll monitor performance with underwriting teams and provide executive-facing analysis to inform decisions. Using data and analytics, including AI where appropriate, you will enhance oversight, governance, and efficiency. This position offers impactful work at strategic scale within a collaborative, risk-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Underwriting Governance and CUO in developing, implementing and managing Group underwriting strategy and governance frameworks
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to monitor performance, spot trends and risks, and ensure guidelines align with business plans and market developments
• Provide analysis, recommendations and executive reporting to support senior decision-making, leveraging data, analytics and AI to enhance oversight and efficiency

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in an Underwriting Governance/Controls centered role within the London Insurance Market
