Overview

In this role you will support and manage the bank’s IT infrastructure to ensure reliable services and security. You will work closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager to plan, maintain, and improve systems across servers, networks, and storage, while aligning with regulator requirements. You will handle production operations, asset management, backups, and disaster recovery planning to support business growth. You will train staff and communicate in Mandarin and English, contributing to a resilient, compliant IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure and production operations to ensure service stability
• Oversee IT asset management, procurement, and lifecycle
• Lead business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and regulatory compliance
• Manage network operations, vendor/third-party collaboration, and IT project tasks
• Provide Tier 2 IT support and collaborate with the IT Infrastructure Manager to ensure smooth IT services
• Draft and maintain IT manuals, procedures, and production management guidelines
• Monitor capacity and performance of IT infrastructure to meet business needs
• Oversee server room operations, virtualization platforms, and hardware maintenance
• Prepare reports for HO/Data Centre and provide staff training on IT knowledge
• Lead security reviews and ensure core network and desktop security alignment
• Coordinate with banks’ regulatory requirements and disaster recovery testing
• Contribute to security program implementation and tests across systems
• Develop and adjust disaster recovery plans to stay compliant with regulators

Key requirements

• Mandarin and English fluent (written and spoken)
• Strong experience with Microsoft Server/Desktop ecosystems (2019 Server/Win10/11)
• Proficiency in core Microsoft infrastructure technologies (Exchange, AD, RDS, DFS)
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/vSphere) and backup technologies (Veeam, Backup Exec, System Recovery)
• Hardware maintenance and troubleshooting, firewall and router configuration
• Hands-on with switching (HP, Cisco, Juniper, Huawei) and system/network monitoring
• Certifications: MCSA Windows Server, MCSE, MCITP, VMware VCP, CCNA/CCNP
• Knowledge of AD, WSUS, UPS, and data centre operations
• Ability to draft IT policies and disaster recovery documentation
• Regulatory compliance awareness and ability to liaison with HO/Data Centre
