Associate Consultant, Tax Transformation (Hybrid)

Overview

As a Tax Technology Associate Consultant, you support senior team members in delivering tax automation and transformation projects for corporate clients. You will help analyze processes, design and configure software solutions, and assist with testing and client deliverables. This role emphasizes collaboration across IT, finance, and tax teams and opportunities to grow through hands-on project work and client interactions. You will contribute to solutions that improve data quality, automate tax processes, and drive transformation at scale.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior team members in analyzing tax processes and recommending automation opportunities
• Contribute to designing new tax process and control designs
• Document business and system processes for tax operations
• Review and document existing tax processes with clients
• Design, install, and configure software for tax transformations and automation
• Support day-to-day project management tasks
• Engage with client teams across IT, Finance, and Tax
• Participate in business development initiatives when appropriate
• Create and document testing scenarios and client deliverables
• Assist data gathering, extraction, and analysis for tax technology deployments
• Support client data acquisition for tax technology services
• Travel to client locations as needed for data collection and deployment
• Review documents for formatting and accuracy
• Research issues and work with raw data to generate reports
• Utilize spreadsheets, databases, and programming tools
• Provide support in delivering Tax Technology consulting services
• Perform other duties as assigned

Key requirements

• A levels or equivalent
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, etc.)
• Experience with data analytics/visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, Power BI) and RPA tools (Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Alteryx)
• Programming/data analysis languages such as Python or R
• SQL knowledge would be useful but not required
• No supervisory responsibilities
