Quantity Surveyor – Residential – West London

Overview

In this role you will join a West London residential developer to drive cost control and commercial success on new build projects. You will work within the commercial team to manage tenders, contracts, and final accounts, while advising on procurement and risk. You’ll support feasibility studies and cost analysis to ensure value for money across multiple schemes. This role offers clear progression and the chance to contribute to high-end and affordable housing while maintaining rigorous standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
• Manage final accounts and cost reporting
• Assess client requirements and perform feasibility studies
• Oversee risk, value management and cost control
• Advise on procurement strategy and commercial risks
• Prepare and analyse tender costings and allocate subcontractor work
• Support contractual claims and progress reporting
• Monitor compliance with building contracts and health & safety requirements

Key requirements

• CSCS Card desirable
• A degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
• RICS membership desirable
• CIOB membership desirable
• Full clean driving licence
• Computer literate
• Able to meet deadlines
• Presentable and able to liaise with internal/external parties
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated
• Experience on multiple projects with minimal supervision as QS
