Senior Civil Engineer

In this Senior Civil Engineer role, you help plan, design and deliver sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure within the UK. Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering design activities for water and wastewater projects
• Prepare and review calculations, reports, specifications and design documentation
• Support development of concept, outline and detailed designs
• Undertake hydraulic and civil infrastructure design for treatment and network assets
• Coordinate inputs across multidisciplinary project teams
• Support project delivery to meet programme, budget and quality goals
• Assist with construction reviews and technical queries
• Mentor and develop graduate and junior engineers
• Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships
• Contribute to technical excellence initiatives and continuous improvement

Key requirements

• Approximately 5+ years of civil engineering experience
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Experience delivering civil engineering designs for infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of water and wastewater assets and design standards
• Experience preparing engineering calculations, reports, specifications and documentation
• Understanding of drainage, pipelines, pumping stations and treatment infrastructure
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Proactive problem-solving approach
