Investment Banking – EMEA Healthcare Associate – London

Overview

In this role you contribute to J.P. Morgan’s Healthcare Coverage Group by supporting M&A and capital market advisory in the EMEA region. You will work closely with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to execute transactions from pitches to client presentations. Your work includes building financial models, conducting valuation analyses, and drafting materials for committees and clients. This position offers exposure to a global, collaborative banking environment with impact across major healthcare clients. Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects and client communications, aligning advisory teams across internal and external stakeholders
• Develop content for strategic client meetings on M&A or capital markets
• Perform detailed valuation and financial analyses (DCF, comparables, LBO, transaction structuring)
• Prepare presentation books, management presentations, boards materials, and memoranda
• Lead daily deal execution and project management, maintaining client dialogue
• Interact with senior bankers and client management to discuss strategic alternatives
• Coordinate with product teams and global sector teams, including UK equities and research

Key requirements

• Prior investment banking experience, preferably in Healthcare coverage
• Proficient financial modelling, valuation, analytical and numeracy skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
• Professional and mature client interaction
• High attention to detail, proactivity and time management
