Associate MEP Cost Manager – Data Centres (Norway)

Overview

In this role you help deliver a key data centre project in the Nordics, coordinating cost management across large, complex programs. You will lead project workstreams, mentor team members, and serve as the primary client contact for cost and commercial reporting. The position involves ensuring contract compliance and driving improvements in cost systems and processes. You join a global, impact-driven practice focused on sustainable places and innovative megaproject delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage large projects or complex work streams to meet client expectations
• Line management and performance development of team members
• Supervise Cost and Commercial Specialists across multiple projects
• Act as primary client contact for cost and commercial reporting and QA
• Review outputs before client submission
• Maintain understanding of the Client’s key objectives
• Ensure compliance with contracts, delivery parameters and scope of service
• Support development of cost and commercial management systems and processes
• Drive continual service improvement and innovation

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Quantity Surveying (Engineering, Construction Management)
• Relevant professional certification (e.g., RICS, AACE)
• Extensive previous experience in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes and cost & commercial management
• Experience leading smaller projects and supporting on larger, complex projects
• Experience delivering analysis and insights
• Experience working with external stakeholders to build client relationships
