In this Bristol-based role, you handle non-contentious construction matters across development, housing, and renewables, taking early responsibility with direct client exposure. You will draft and negotiate core contracts and related documents, while collaborating within a growing Real Estate team that supports your progression. The role blends high-quality work with autonomy and a visible place within a reputable practice. You’ll shape projects from day one and contribute to a rising construction pipeline.

Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate JCT and NEC contracts; prepare bespoke amendments
- Prepare and review professional appointments, collateral warranties, bonds, and guarantees
- Create and maintain comprehensive construction documentation
- Support related dispute resolution and wider real estate development work as appropriate
- Engage with developers, contractors, consultants, and funders to manage matters and client relationships
Key requirements
- Around 4+ years’ PQE in non-contentious construction
- Solid non-contentious construction experience
- Strong technical capability in construction documents
- Confidence in managing client relationships
- Development-led or infrastructure experience advantageous
- Exposure to renewables beneficial but not essential
- Proactive approach
